Caravan Gas Certificate
If you have a permanently plumbed gas system you will require a Caravan Gas Certificate when selling your caravan or camper trailer here in queensland
This includes camper trailers with bayonet outlets such as a Jayco Pod

You may also Require a Caravan Roadwothy Certificate if your caravan or camper has brakes and has a Aggregate Trailer Mass (ATM) between 750kg and 4500kg
Requirements for Mobile Caravan Gas Certificate and Camper Trailer Gas Certificate
- Caravan to be accessible inside and out, 1/2m access around the outside.
- Flat and level ground to work on, concrete or hard dirt preferred, NOTE - long grass is not suitable
- Caravan covers should be removed, all compartments to be unlocked.
- Check that you have Gas in the Gas Bottle, it is best to run your appliances to make sure they work, if something doesnt work properly on your caravan or camper trailer gas system please call us to make us awear of the issues.

Owners of caravans, motor homes and camper trailers are advised that there is a potential safety risk while operating these appliances on LP Gas.
Under certain conditions, the water heaters can generate elevated levels of Carbon Monoxide which, in some instances, may spill into the habitable space of the caravan, motor home or camper Trailer.
Carbon Monoxide (CO) is a colourless, odourless gas that can adversely affect the health when inhaled. In large concentrations CO can be lethal.
